Invest in Your Cooperative, Empower Your Future
At Ndoro Multipurpose Cooperative Society (NMCS), every member is not just a saver or a borrower — every member is an owner. One of the fundamental pillars of our cooperative is the concept of shareholding, which gives members both a stake and a voice in the growth of our society.
As a member, you are required to purchase an initial minimum share capital of ₦5,000. Which you did, when you paid the sign up fee of ₦11,000. But did you know that you can buy additional shares up to a maximum of 20% of the total share capital of the cooperative?
“You can also buy more shares other than the initial ₦5,000 share capital but not exceeding 20% of the total share capital of the cooperative (₦1 Million Share Capital).”
In a cooperative society, shares represent your ownership and equity. When you buy shares in NMCS, you’re investing in the society itself. Your shares give you rights such as:
Increasing your shareholding in NMCS is more than a financial transaction — it’s a commitment to collective growth. Here’s why it matters:

Maximum individual shareholding = ₦200,000
Interested in increasing your investment in NMCS? It’s simple:
Shareholding is the heartbeat of cooperative life. It binds us together not just as members, but as co-owners of a shared vision. Buying more shares is not just about growing your returns — it’s about deepening your stake in something bigger than yourself.
So why wait? Empower your future and strengthen your cooperative today.
